GEC # 23--Bull Lock (LRL) or Liner lock or Slip Joint/ no lock/ UPDATE w/ Pics

That ebony looks really nice! If you like to sheath carry, you're going to love it!

I have one (23 bull lock) in jigged bone, but it never gets carried. No issues with comfort, pull is great - maybe a 6/7 - and I think the lock is really cool. My problem on the #23's is I don't like to sheath carry, and I like a lanyard so it can be easily plucked from my pocket. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a bull lock with a lanyard hole.....

I do have a 23 in bocote (with a lanyard hole) that gets carried regularly, 1 of my favorite hiking knives actually!

Nice photos Aias! I really like mine, it is plenty comfortable for my needs, and now that I have got some time with it, closing it is a seamlessly smooth operation. I've got a padded older style 110 sheath that I need to sew a couple loops onto for horizontal carry. In colder weather it will fit just fine in my jeans pocket. Glad you got one and are enjoying it, it's a pretty interesting knife. I didn't bother sharpening mine yet, it didn't feel all that sharp out of the tube, but after doing some test cuts on some cardboard the edge actually improved a bit, it cuts paper and the nice thin grind goes right through cardboard easily. I might break it in like I did with my liner lock 23, just toss it in the kitchen knife drawer and use it for food prep for a couple months.

Thanks guys! Yep, I'll sheath carry it, horizontally for the most part; I'd love a lanyard hole in mine as well--too bad.. And yes, it pulled a god deal of kitchen & bbq duty to get the patina going. I plan on giving it edc priority for a while and see how it works out.
