GEC .38 Special Question

In MCar's post #13 of Derrick's video around the beginning at about .07 does he said a "cranium" pattern?o_O

Isn't a 38 special a hand gun? 22 magnum, 44 gunstock, 38 special; names GEC uses for knife patterns from gun terms?

(Can't figure out how to "steal" the image to post here, and it may be copyrighted anyway.)

Right click on the image, then "copy the address of the image". Should not be a problem if you name the source. :)

Thanks, Jolipapa Jolipapa . :thumbsup::cool:

i always thought these were referred to as the reverse dogleg, this was the pattern for the rendezvous knife last year but i didnt grab since i prefer the regular 48 dogleg trapper pattern

I do like that one, Lostball.
On the GEC 56 dogleg the main blade pivot is on the dawg's Paw. On these 38's the main blade pivot is on the pooch's paw. In my imagination.

I definitely think that's what GEC was going for with their selection of #22 for their small gunstock and #44 for their larger gunstock. The 38 special seems different, though. But who knows.
