GEC #47 Harvester and #74 Cotton Sampler. First 2023 run.

I thought I'd finally have my chance at a 47 but I have no real use for a pruner blade sadly :/. Cotton sampler looks neat though!

JoKr JoKr That Nougat gives a sweet patina  but what a nightmare of stickiness in the joint:eek:

Will the current run have brass bolsters too?

I'm keen on Pruners a very cool blade and one with a long history, next time hard packaging drives you mad just reach for a Pruner, nothing better or safer.

lol, yes it would have been a nightmare of stickness in the joints, but that exactly makes the sampler such a good nougat spreader...
just dip the front part in the jar 🥲

brass bolsters and liners for the NF trim and steel for the Tidi, i guess.
i dont need another pruner as user... i have 5+ pruner garden knives

I am a sucker for steel construction - that would suit me just fine.

JoKr JoKr Those Otter budding knives are very alluring. The wooden one bottom, does its tang-stamp read Hugo Köller? Must have a lot of age to it.

No, you NEED another GEC Pruner  I know I don't need any more brass bolster knives though...

i prefer brass, no rust and it shines like gooooold lol

I do like brass as well but, like with steel, I prefer it to show character with patina/tarnishing.

I think, to date, I only have one GEC with all brass furniture - a #44. I have every intention of pocketing it and giving it its dues but I keep saying, "Maybe tomorrow". 😁

I would be very interested to see a picture of even better a video showing how the cotton sampler is used. 🤓

The harvester is the first GEC ive been very excited about recently. I'm big into gardening these days and would make a nice user addition to my collection. The cotton sampler is an oddball, not sure I'll care to pick one up, but I've seen plenty of WTB cotton sampler posts on the internet the last few years, so hopefully all that want one will be able to snag one.
