Hi Folks,
Just trying to rotate up my users. GEC 72 wharncliffe. This one has been out of production for quite a while. It's a user so don't expect it to be perfect, but it's a solid user at that. Comes with tube and wrapper. The blade has had a little more patina on it since this photo was taken, but not much else has changed. It's hair shaving sharp right now.
This one has some blade play in both directions, but is common for this model. I've emailed GEC and they are happy to fix the wobble and you could decide if you are particular about it for me to send directly to GEC, your call. But if I were you I would just use this big guy like how I've been doing. Moderns ok.
Not interested in barlows.
Preference for single or 2 blade traditionals other wharncliffe's, other GEC or Northwoods users that are smaller than the #72.
I so have for trade a Mini Kwaiken that was given a Big Chris regrind as a 2for1...the regrind made it a nasty slicer.
