GEC just posted new set-up knife on their site: the Abilene. It looks like a stockman built on the 4" #81 frame.

Sweet.

I am a fan of larger folders. My Large gustock, and Grandad barlows get a lot of pocket time.

Take a lot of my money!!!! This was the knife I have been hoping they would make. My expectations are extremely high and I have a feeling I won't be disappointed. :)

That is gonna be a sweetheart! :love_heart: I've always been a fan of the older Case 6392's, and the GEC 81 stockman is shaping up to be a similar knife, but a step above in style! I can't wait to see these!

Me too, and then maybe they will make a 2blade jack in the same pattern.

Took me a while to find this information. Why oh why do they maintain 2 different websites?

They say the .com one is for general information and the .net for the enthusiasts.

OK - I get it. I kind of thought when the new site was launched they would incorporate everything into it eventually. I don't see the reason for both, but understand which is which now - thanks!
