GEC Abilene...did someone's wishes just come true?

They had it on an 85 SFO before. But it is a rare one, and a great choice I think.

Yes you are right, forgot about that one, I think those got snapped up quick and I haven't seen anyone post many pictures of one. I would snatch one up if they did another run of those.

I'm waiting very impatiently for these to be available. I'm not crazy about the orange osage wood but I've been smitten quite hard by the four inch stockman pattern.

1095, stag or bone, 4" stockman? It just so happens that I am starting my first real job after graduating college and my first GEC with those specs would make a fiiine present to myself

To answer the original question. Perhaps someone's wishes came true but not mine. Just doesn't look quite right to me. I'm sure others will just love it.

good to see this is finally in production, its been on the backburner for months.
I have looked through all the pics and this thread, and seen no information on whether it will be 2 or 3 springs. I would have assumed 2 springs, but the pic of the completed one does look quite fat.

I like the looks of that knife with the osage orange wood very much !

It looks really good and I like osage, very durable and ages well. However, I'd like to see some type of bone scales on these. This is what I've been waiting for them to make, and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know the release date on these?

I don't think they've been on the backburner, they've just had other projects ahead of this. Looks like 2 springs.

If I had to guess, I'd figure they'd finish off the Tidioutes before shipping them to dealers. They still have jigged bone and acrylic left for the Tidioutes and I'm guessing one will be finished today and the other tomorrow. I'd say some of the dealers will have them available for order by the end of this week or beginning of next.

The Tidioute scale offerings just aren't bringing me to the table. I've been wanting something in Stag. I might just have to get some stag..... unless the bone looks really great. :D

Yes, it certainly does. I was thinking Yellow Rose but this may change my mind.
