gec acrylics

Thanks. I realize now that I was mixing up Blue Denim acrylic with Stonewashed Blue bone. Close, but no cigar. :o

Here is a photo I snapped of the GEC display at BLADE in Atlanta:

I was able to talk with Ken Daniels for about 20 minutes. He is both very personable and interesting, with a wealth of knife and business experience.

What are those little knives between the lockbacks? Are those the new #66 pattern?

Sorry, joe-bob, the photo is a little deceiving. Those are the 4-1/8" cigar pattern #53/54. They are on the glass shelf below the top one, hence they look much smaller. They're actually a 1/4" longer than the LBs.

I think it's an optical illusion. Looks like they're on a lower glass shelf and they are the 53 or 54 cuban pattern to me.

EDIT: Black Mamba, you are a mind reader! Or you beat me to the punch. :)

I love the dead skunk pattern concept also. Thought I'd get away from the knife on the picnic table shot. The dead skunk in my photo is really a clone of my dog's chest fur.

I'm not sure how I missed this picture in the past but it sure is neat. Great shot and photo shop there Johnny!
