Curious if the Beagle name applied to this style knife relates to a certain Beagle associated with Peanuts?
Hmmm..... Just the right size for a PunchNut, punch secondary, and they are already making a wharncliffe primary.... One of my dream knives, so close, yet still so far away......
I like a lanyard hole in almost every Jack knife pattern. If you carry your knife in a belt sheath a lanyard makes pulling knife from sheath much easier. Also helpful outside in the bush if you want to put your knife down for a minute, you can hang it on stubby branch with a lanyard. Knife is then easier to find than lying on the ground. Etc.
Is there a drawback to a lanyard hole ? Do some patterns not have enough space for a lanyard hole ?

Haha nice one Jake. Love me some Schultz.
This will be a very interesting knife at least for me. I'll be keeping my eye on it to see what cover options they offer out.
Yes! Coyote-Leg PunchNut !!!
That pretty cool
I think a Beaglish head might be a shield on these knives and thus the name "Beagle knife".
This is strictly a guess.

Based on the artist drawing, the GEC "Beagle" pattern is going to be fatter than most peanuts. Aside from the White Owl, Great Eastern doesn't do much in slender...![]()

That's okay. GEC doesn't have to make an exact copy of the Peanut. I think it will be a nice little knife as long as they don't have too hard a pull.
BTW, the #09 Esquire is a slim little knife. Quite nice.
