The GEC buttons I have are just tossed in a drawer.
That doesn't seem very exciting.
Where are the super duper cool pictures of buttons going to tops of mountains, bottom of seas, at state line welcome centers, etc?

What do you do with your GEC buttons?

Oh ... and where is my Blade Forum button ?!?!?!
I distinctly remember signing the waiver when I joined, but didn't get a button ... shoot

I was just thinking about this the other day actually as I tossed a couple new ones into my unofficial button drawer. Was trying to think of something I could do with them. Though maybe attach little magnets to the back of them and stick them on the inside of my gun/knife safe door or something like that.

I did the magnet thing with them. Glued a magnet disc on the back and we use them on the fridge for pics of my grandson's various events.

I only buy GEC knives to collect the buttons. I wonder what I should do with all these knives. :D

Just kidding.....no PMs please....my knives do not need a caring home. :)

I put them in A SAFE PLACE!! What else?! ;) :D

For all the GEC's I've bought over the past couple years, I've only ever received one button (with a 77 from this last run), so I've never given them any thought before now...the magnet thing is a good idea!

I was thinking of making a hat band . . . . . . . . . .

I like to wear them on my vest. They make wonderful pieces of flair.

Just kidding. I don't actually own any GEC buttons. How do you get them?

* Bonus points to anyone who identifies the origin of "POF."

I've never received one with any GEC knife I've ordered. Am I ordering the wrong knives? :/

Office Space.

Made me go check my GEC tube thinking I missed a something. What's the story with the buttons, random surprise?

Only very recently did GEC start making them and popping them into tubes as extras. None before 2014 unless I'm mistaken.

I found a Neodymium (rare earth) magnet 7/16" x 1/16" disc works great to improve the looks of a refrigerator with a button. No glue is needed.
Increase in size to 1/2" x 1/16" or 7/16" x 3/32" if your intentions are to secure a picture, etc.

The first buttons released were for the 2014 GEC Annual Rendezvous. These have appreciated in value exponentially. ;) I've got one around here somewhere.....?
