GEC Buttons ... Whatdaya Do With Them?

I twist out the pin and stick them to my safe with a 1/2" permanent magnet - no glue needed. You can see a magnet at the top left.

I also collect truck fridge magnets from various trades and business. I have nearly 100 of those things!
Confined to my safe and filing cabinets, they are not allowed in the more civilized parts of the house. I argued that they are "fridge" magnets, but lost my case - obviously . . . .:grumpy:!
:D
:D

Any magnets I've collected have been relegated to the "beer fridge" in the laundry room... not allowed on the nice fridge in the kitchen.

As far as GEC buttons go, mine all live in the tubes they came in for now.

I've always been curious about which GEC knives come with buttons and which don't. I got buttons with my Beer Scouts, with the #77 Harness Jack, and with the Tidioute Coyotes I bought recently, but I have several Farm & Field Tool knives and a few #15 Boy's Knives and none of them came with a button, and I bought three Rope Knives (Charlie's SFO) and would have thought they would come with buttons (as it seems most of Charlie's SFOs do), but they didn't. If there's a rhyme or reason to the GEC buttons, I sure can't figure it out. :D

You rip out the clip portion in the Burton's rear and epoxy in a magnet and place on your refrigerator.
