GEC Conductor

I don't yet have a stainless GEC, in a quick look around the interwebs I rediscovered the Dog Paw. I looked at them a while back being a dog lover but never got one and forgot about them. Anyways, I decided to order one and now I wait. Guess I'll take the dogs for some walks to pass the time...we've got an 11 yr old golden retriever, a 10 yr old golden retriever Great Pyrenees cross, (we call her a great goldenees!) and now a 9 month old mastiff cross, (likely boxer, perhaps a bit of pit Bull And who knows what else mixed in there?)

An excellent pattern but one GEC seems to have forgotten about. I too prefer the 2 blade version, and the stainless over the carbon.

Who said Peanuts were the best small knife?? :D And Cashews are a better nut still

Old thread, great knife. Maybe because railroad conductor was my dad's profession, have always liked these. No halfstop results in a very smooth opening. I prefer the 2-blade over the later 3-blade version.

Love the coping secondary.

That Ivory and Ebony pair is absolutely stunning. Both are on my must get someday list.

Stainless Dog Paw & 1095 Whittler

Nice to see #02 is still looking good-I was the original purchaser of it . Sold it about 2years ago but I don't think you were the buyer
so it is making its rounds. Kept the SS 2 blade one, awlays liked it better.

I picked it up a little over a year ago I believe. Don't see too many 33 whittlers.

This is my only 33 conductor... I really like this pattern, wish they would make them again......

Beautiful example, lamco3. I think this is the first picture I've seen of a tortoise shell acrylic. Nice. I, too, wish we'd see another run of these. I just love the perfectly centered shield on a swell center. And lined bolsters don't look any better than they do on a 33. I also hope the GEC will so a slightly larger swelling center. Great knives. The models with coping blades, in particular, are to die for.

Good to see you popping back up again, MCar MCar . The 33 sure is swell... Badoo, tshhh!
Hehehe. Good to see you, too, traumkommode.

This thread is making me regret selling the Buffalo Northfield I once owned. Makes my head SWELL just thinking about it. ;)

New pic with a couple additions, lucky to find a SS no bail stag. All two blade models, my preference on the 33 frame. No halfstop smooth opening.

Chief Chief , whats the shield on the far right green 33? I don't think I have ever seen that one.
