I've been a little frustrated trying to photograph the subtle grain visible in the acrylic using my cellphone camera. I might have to bust out the real camera next weekend. Here's a pic showing the little chips by the bolster on the pile side. I'm fine with a little character on a user knife, but I suppose GEC won't use this material again because of this sort of problem.
For sure, the grain structure is what makes the material special in my view. I hope (but seriously doubt) that we'll see some more in the future on a knife I would be interested in. The #25 is just too small for me (I've tried them a couple different times).
