I sent the 66 to another loving house, so I don’t own it any longer, but here’s a pic golf a 66 stockman next to a 68 cattle. Pretty dang similar!

I’ll add to the 66 & 68 comparison. Here are my two. The clip blades look practically identical. Does anyone know if these two patterns share blades?

Ya it slowed down my pursuit of the 66,notthat a 66 isn't going to find its way to me,I'm not chasing, but 66 moose is another animal

Thanks, Paul. I liked how well that burlap #25 camouflaged against that big #46. And people joke about the #25 having a fat spear blade!

I’m sure I have some more side-by-side pics of GEC patterns that I’ve taken over the years, it’s just a matter of finding them!

I handled that beast at Badger last year. They could issue that sucker to every Infantryman and ditch the entrenching tool. That thing is no joke.

Variations on a theme: the 55, 56 and 57 all have identical frames but use different blade types or reversal of the frame (57 is a reversed 56) EZ-Open Pruner, 55 Wharncliffe, 56s as single or 2 blade Jacks, 57 Half Whitt Wharncliffe/Pen etc.
