GEC patterns I'd love to see in 2015

I was thinking about this the other day and couldn't find a camp knife (blade, cap lifer, can opener, awl) on GEC's site. Am I missing it or haven't they designed one yet?

I'd also love to see a "beverage or picnic knife" that incorporates a blade, cap lifer and cork screw all in one package.

Are there any patterns you all would love to see GEC tackle this year that they haven't made so far?

I haven't been much into the GEC flavor of the day lately but that would be another I would consider

I'd settle for something like a Beerlow. Over the new years eve celebration, I kept wishing I had packed a bottle opener that wasn't on my keychain. My stockman came in handy to cut up some cheese and open some packages, but I did miss the lifter on my swiss army knife.

They must have read my mind. I love a dogleg-splitback whittler, well low and behold they are coming forward with the #38. Yippee! !!

Camper pattern would be good. I'd really like to see a Cattle Knife though (Spear Main, Sheepfoot, Spey).

Still holding out for a 'Cub Scout' utility knife. A spear main with a crown lifter and a punch on a #68 frame (with or without a bail).

A Scout for sure. And a Sowbelly. And am I the only person hoping for another run of Sunfish with a double-pull main blade?

May want to move this over to the "let's talk gec" thread, but before it does get moved, I've wondered if the 33 conductor would work with a sheepsfoot main.

I would get a Cub Scout utility though if it were in the right scales.

Either a 3¾" equal end cattle knife or scout on the same frame (or both!), or a 3¾" sowbelly.

A 3¼" equal end pen with tip bolsters would be really nice as well. And a jack with rat-tail bolsters.

I want to see a Scout knife built on the #53 or the #54 frame.
Spear point, caplifter/screwdriver, can opener, awl.

I'd like it without a bail, but that's not a deal-breaker for me.

I'd love to see a new run of 25s or 26s. A small scout or camping knife would be great also. I'd like to see them get away from the bigger knives, and give us more smaller knives.

A PROPER sized Norfolk with a long imposing Wharncliffe please.

I agree with Jeff, a tip bolster pattern is long overdue, sunk-joints would be a boon too on any pattern. If CASE and RR can do it....

Another outing for the 33 is always welcome.

Have high hopes for the forthcoming Whittler/Gardener pattern, lot of possibilities there.

However, GEC's business model seems to be allied to SFO runs as this is where they can guarantee income. It does appear this past year has witnessed a reduction in new patterns accordingly.

Heck... I would just like to see them make MORE of some of the good sellers. It seems like every time they make some of them (like Barlows), they are all gone in a couple days and then I cannot get my hands on one. One either has to be "in the know" about them or wait until they pop up for sale here on the forum. But even then it gets sold in seconds.

I would like to see them build a 3 7/8" single spring Muskrat with round bolsters. Ebony scales would make it perfect imho.
