GEC patterns I'd love to see in 2015

Probably mentioned here already but FWIW; Scout with pinned bail, #15 with drop point main blade, EO #15 and or #85.

Fingers crossed for a new run of Day's Work barlows, clip/spey or spey only, on the 15 and/or 77 frame. Even better if there is a chance of African blackwood as one of the handle materials used.

I was thinking about this the other day and couldn't find a camp knife (blade, cap lifer, can opener, awl) on GEC's site. Am I missing it or haven't they designed one yet?

I'd also love to see a "beverage or picnic knife" that incorporates a blade, cap lifer and cork screw all in one package.

Are there any patterns you all would love to see GEC tackle this year that they haven't made so far?

- Dave

I think GEC's congress knives have been two bladed, or four bladed with two large, identical sheepfoot main blades. But I would like to see them do an old, pre-WWII style congress: a little smaller, thinner, with large spear and sheepfoot main blades, and small pen and coping secondary blades. Throw in stag handles while we're at it.

More spear points, please.
Anything on the #68 frame.
More equal-end patterns!

And for something completely new and different, a doctors knife with spear point and spatula.

this is a borrowed picture and there's no coping blade but they did make this run -

this was during their sheepcliffe era

She said for sure an EO, but different blade configuration.

Excited to see what that means.

perhaps she is in referance to these, GEC made 6 of these easy open caplifter scouts at the 2014 redezvous, I was fortunate enough to get one.
I would also like to see another run of 85 EO match strikes, and would love to see GEC make a SeaHorse Whittler in 1095!

Smaller Scout - spear, awl, bottle opener
Full size Scout - spear, awl, bottle opener, can opener
Specialized Carver, something along the lines of one of the Oar Carvers that queen produces, 1 or multiple Wharncliffe blades
