It's a good feeling when you pick up a knife and it fits your hand perfectly.
I have 10 GEC's but only 5 different patterns so I don't have a whole lot to compare but for me, so far, it's the #55 Hound Tooth.
I'm curious as to which pattern is the most ergonomic for you.

Of them all... The Missouri Trader #42. Good Ergonomics and I love the Lockback version.

Honorable Mention to the #79 Montana Workhorse 3-backspring whittler.

I'm with you mate, for me it is the 55/56 dogleg frame. The 76 is a close second.

Without a doubt the #55 Houndstooth it is not only one of the most ergonomic traditionals I have owned but also one of the most ergonomic on any knife I have owned.

The toothpick pattern is never out of my pocket for long. Still my favorite carry knife. Missouri lockback is a close second.

Single blade 73 is hard to beat.

Seconded.

The two blade version is nice as well. Minimal hot spots.

The Conductor Whittler is nice since the coping blade doesn't have a sharp point plus the size of the clip blade is great when compare to the overall size of the knife.

I have three that I consider to feel BIH (Best in Hand), all separated by the thinnest of margins. For me the #76 Outlaw Jack reigns supreme followed by the #85 Jack in Cocobolo and the #66 Serpentine jack. Although I love both my #68 White Owl and my #68 Pony Jack.....the first three feel slightly better. Having said that .... the #92 Eureka Jack looks slinky enough to nuzzle up to any hand with distinction!

My #56 dogleg jack rides well in the pocket and fits my hand like no other. It is comfortable to use in multiple grips and at different angels.

Certainly the single bladed GECs are more ergonomic. I prefer the two bladed models; I just like having that extra blade if I need it. I just got a #42 (Missouri Trapper 2-blade) and now I have to decide if I prefer the larger #23 (Pioneer 2-blade) or the #42. I have the sizes covered and now it's time to experiment and make a decison. The #23 has been in my pocket since I got it. It's heavy, but I really like the handful. The #42 is just a tad less (0.25") in length and a little lighter.

Does it bother any of you guys to use a GEC that is serialized?

The 23's are great, but much like a Buck 110, I find them to be a little much for edc (at least for my needs)... the #42's work best for me--I have both the trader and trapper, and while I like the more pronounced clip-point better on the trader, the trapper is a bit thicker and fills my hand better. I like having the 2 blades as well. The #76 is really handy and and easy to carry, but if I cut for a while with it, my hand will cramp up--it is pretty small. I still love mine though. I just picked up a 4 blade #61 congress and whittled a bit with it--it is fairly comfortable... which tells me I'd likely be OK with a #73 and a #72...

No, not really, I use my #42 Trapper because of the number on the bolster (sentimental reasons).

I've been carrying an #85 bullet jack for about 10 days now, and it feels as good as any. It has a good set of rounded stag covers that fill my hand nicely, especially with the teardrop shape (butt larger than the pivot/bolster.

The Powderhorn Jack fits my hand perfectly. That little curve at the end really fits my hand just right.
