I am certainly IN!
Just struggling on what handle to put on the Desert Sage blade.
I want to stay close to the blade in color, but some variation is cool. I like G10, but none of the choices seemingly appear to "match" desert sage.
Tan/Black G10 is not too far off, but not exactly what I am seeking. Canvas Micarta is also a consideration. However, it gets darker with use. So, tan canvas is out. I may just go with Black Canvas and call it done.
Any help in making my decision will be appreciated.
 
Ordered mine this morning tanker grey with black g10. I'm just trying to hold out and not order another one at the moment. Pokey was great to talk to this morning.

I have a rodent solution from the swamp in sage/black canvas. It looks fantastic. I will definately be getting another in the near future.

Another solid choice would be either black paper or black G10. If you feel like you need multicolored G10 take a look at the red and black.

These are just my favorites. I don't think there's any bad choices available.

I was thinking more monochromatic. IE- handle closely as possible matched to the blade. As I rethink it, I may stray from that as I don't know if it is possible.
 
yeah i ordered black g10 because i already have a tanker grey with black canvas. I'm really tempted to get a jungle green one now too. if they are up long enough in the store so i can save some extra funds I will.

Wasn' there a TG released in a ganzaaa not too long ago with a desert sand finish? The handle was very close to the blade color. Maybe someone else can dig up pics, having trouble finding them on my phone...
 
I went for Tanker & Black Paper. I'm usually a Jungle Green w/ Black Canvas kind of guy (or satin & Tigerhide,) but for some reason Tanker & Black Paper seems to fit well with the TG. I am very tempted to get another one as a gift for a cousin who's in the military, in which case I'll be obligated to get another for myself.

I'm with others when they say they want to play with this blade before getting more than one. Here's hoping for a quick turnaround at the shop & the TG hanging around long enough! That, and I wouldn't mind if the AA were replaced by the new NMSHBMLBS in the next couple of months :D.

Remember the G-10 will weigh an ounce or so more than the micarta.

The original was a beefy blade, but these should be super sweet and fast, not to mention the Spec ops sheath, which I keep my Mil overrun in... NOW> to figure what color combos would be good :), thinking black/od G10 on Sage and a good old Black canvas on Green
 
A little off topic but Ham67 just pointed this out to me. Ummm, has this site always been around? Was I in a drunken coma for weeks and not get the notice :confused:

It's been around for 3-4 weeks or so (there was a thread, forgot who brought it up), but until I checked last night it just said coming soon or under construction or check back in 2 weeks or something like that.
