Worldwood, go to sleep:-P.

Just got back from another day of fossil hunting. The residue from screenwashing/sieving still needs to be searched through, but there's a ton of shark teeth in there. Awesome!

Spring break week is almost over and kids go back to school next week! Hard to make stuff when they constantly want dad for everything!

Do it! I've never actually held / seen a Sebenza, and for that I think I am fortunate. I look at the pics and think, ok...what's the big deal. However, something tells me I am missing out.

Anybody own a Sig Sauer?
Which model?
Pros & Cons?

I have an XD40 which I absolutely love.
The Sigs have been catching my eye here lately.
I've just started looking into them so I'm still not sure what I want.
I'll have my CPL here in a few weeks so I'm thinking possible sub compact. I haven't held one I like though.
Any suggestions on favorite concealed carry?

probably one of the scandi moreso types. the one i'm eyeing is not catalytic, which apparently let's me run it at anywhere from "it's pretty" to raging BTU mode, without regard for keeping the catalyst happy (or burning it up, or using it up - they're a wearable apparently). stove is supposedly the largest in the class that i can install in my fireplace, and should throw a lot of heat, more with a peltier fan.

though i've heard of multi-fuel stoves, that might be interesting.

someone has suggested i get a coal one. those could be entertaining, but seem to have downsides as well.

good points -- on the multi-fuel pellet/grain stoves, they require electricity for the feeding mechanism & fan so while a cool concept, have been excluded from our plans here. YMMV.

great ergos, points nice, minimal perceived recoil.
LOOOONNG trigger pull, but smooth -- like an old S&W revolver.
I've held a 220, shot the 226, P6/225, 229, & 250 subcompact and all have been great.
personal preference is for the 229 -- it's a compact frame with double stack and 3.9" bbl so has a decent sized grip but not a huge print for CCW. (narrower than the XD 3.8 series with similar capacity and no weird "glock style" trigger)

I've got the SP2022 9mm and it is a lot of fun, but I have been told the trigger is "spongy". I still like it though, and it shoots well. Seems to be pretty accurate, but then I am a novice in such things.

220, 226 & 229. All are worth it. Sig is my go to after H&K.

M&P 40 with an Apex trigger and you're done with handgun purchases. As for the refresh of windows 8.......... my a$$ it saves your stuff. Spent the day reinstalling all my programs. Still can't upload pics to any site with the exception of one or two here and there that I can't figure out why they work / don't work.

That being said: Angry drunk dinosaur says RWAAAAARRRR!!!!!

No, you're not missing out. I had a small sebenza for a passaround and honestly I wasn't that impressed. I mean it was nice, but it wasn't worth what it's priced at. To me at least.

I got my new E-3 today in the mail from Eli. It's an OD/Orange one... Matches the OD/Orange 4.

Friday. Work is almost over. Dinner with my folks, then off to the gf's house to help hammer it back into shape... she's been busy and it's a mess. Then... the WEEKEND. We're trying to decide what to do, and there's a good chance that we'll blast out to either LA or San Diego. Or maybe Yuma. Or maybe stay in town and sit around on the couch all weekend. Decisions decisions.
