Sausage, bacon, potatoes, cheese, egg, hot sauce, salsa, salsa verde, tortilla. Win.
That gave me the shits by a mere glance.

mornin gents! Lookin to paddle out the yak in an hour or two.

Bringing my crank radio so i can listen to the gamecocks ballgame while i paddle.

Dang WW, how about givin me one of those RMD's ?? huh huh???? yea?? :D

Anyways...The sheer sight of Derek's breakfast sent me joggin to the bucket.

reminds me of a poem someone wrote on the bathroom stall of our highschool, i still remember it years later:

"sittin in the stinking vapor
wondering who took all the paper

there's the bell, i dare not linger;
guess i'll have to use my finger"

a 1911 is definately on the short list.
Here's a shot of my XD40. Like I said earlier, I really love it.
The ergos are great for me, super comfortable. Extremely accurate out of the box.
I'm just thinking of looking into the world of compacts for ease of carry.
I'll go up to Cabellas this weekend and check out a few.

Since you like the XD, check out the XDS and XD sub compacts. I really like both. I carry the XDS and it is crazy accurate. at 20-30' I can put all 5 or 6 in the 9&10 ring. If I take my time, they are almost always touching.

Can't go wrong with a Sig, though. I'm loving their compact 1911's and am currently saving for one. Also would like one of their full-sized 9mm, but that's a ways down the list.

My boy bought himself a BK9 yesterday. I'm so proud.

Awesome. You've done well as a father. :)

Just ordered my Yeti cooler. I borrowed one for the first gathering I attended and it got me hooked.

Pretty nice day out, windy but still nice. Got some pork chops and salmon ready for the grill later. Should be a good day.

I just got home from Scheels. Those Yetis are freaking bomb proof.

Don't they have a commercial...or there's a video out there somewhere...of one of those falling out the back of a truck at highway speed and the cooler is fine after all is said and done.

I gotta say, though, the Coleman Max series is good enough for me. They keep ice for a good 5-6 days, which is plenty for anything our family does.

there is a rumor that you can't hold yer mud... kind of confirmation in your revelation...

Doc

But only when I give a mere glance at sausage, bacon, potatoes, cheese, egg, hot sauce, salsa, salsa verde, and tortilla.

Thanks to Derek and Warrior, I've been playing with a lightbox today. Grabbed two clamp lights and 100w daylight bulbs to replace the crappy little xenon lamps it came with. Lots of fun!

Nice work mrn8. Light boxes are awesome. I've posted these before, but these are some of my favs that I've done. I used to do reviews for earphones, amps, etc:

You ain't kidding man! One of the biggest selling points for me was the ice retention and they're ability to hold weight. I've had loads of coolers over the years and my number one complaint is how they buckle under a 200 lbs Irish prick sitting on the lid. The Yeti doesn't have that issue.
