Yeowch. Just spent the last several hours grinding on a 36" OAL piece of CPM 3V. Making a sword, with a 28" blade, and grinding a blade that long freehand is HARD, especially considering how tough 3V is to grind on (with an old belt). My back hurts now; I need to find a way to grind long blades that doesn't end up messing up my back...

It just so happens that I have a DIY sword-grinding machine that's not being used.
it needs some cleanup and a new 1/4HP motor to drive the reciprocating gear so you can set it up, turn it on, and walk away for an hour or so while it profiles a bevel.
 
I think he bought an adapter kit - or made one.
it looked like some tubing and a couple of shark-bite type fittings.
 
This guys using an in line Sawyer with a Platy. The one I bought is a squeeze filter.

Yeah I sold that Ruger Blackhawk to buy it. Kind of scary to have a pocket knife that costs that much
 
apparently there's a huge market for you guys holding BK10 LEs, and you know, should sell them before the BK10 KaBar edition come out.
