1066vik how does your muk perform

since it's the only 'muk pattern I have, all I can say is it cuts things -- don't know if it does it better than other versions of the pattern or not. works great for food prep, although due to thickness of the blade, there is significant "wedging action" going on when cutting rigid veggies like potato or carrot.

All this talk about the 10s release is just depressing me since i don't have one to play with while i wait for the re-release!

I'll be refreshing Tomars page constantly from now to the end of the month. :) Can't wait to have a BK10 again.

I love mine. It's one of my favorite knives.

Hey guys,

I found this knife on the ground at a campout,

Its a Senor El' Cheapo knife, they were selling it for $10, and my brother says its made of aluminum or stainless grade steel.
The blade is 5 inches and a half inches long

Total 10 Inches.

It is not a skeletal frame, and I have not had a chance to take the rope off to show you guys, but its just a rectangle of "Metal".
Here is the sheath, its horrible quality, and does not even have a belt loop.

So can I use it for anything practical at all?

If so, What?

If not...

I might make it into a decorative knife, for Indian clothing, until I can afford a real knife to mod.
So wooden scales, or maybe early micarta.
If wooden scales, I might put a cross guard on it.
And a leather sheath.

Thanks for Reading.

QUOTE]

Gently spreading jams or butter on toast. (although significant dulling may occur)
Holding papers down during inclement weather.
It looks like it could open a beer.
Plenty of practical things to do. :-)

Seriously though, if you plan on modding in the future why not use that to see how to do it. Grinding on that and messing up wont matter as much as a "good" knife. Or you could just throw it at trees.
