I'm becoming a 1911 magazine addict. For some reason I just want to try them all!! Just got s few Tripp Cobra mags in the mail. They seem well built, but I'm not sure if I like the polymer followers. I'm gonna shoot the heck out of them and see how they hold up.

I have the Platypus GravityWorks filter (which is very similar to the Sawyer gravity system) and it works great.

Takes up slightly more room than your average pump filter, but is filters water faster and is lighter than almost any pump.

You can also carry an extra 8L of water if needed using the two bags (4L filtered in the clean bag, 4L unfiltered in the dirty bag).
 
YAAY, im back in action! this computer is pretty awesome too! setup was way quicker than anything im used to.
 
I miss windows 7 though..... And wheres my start button on the bottom left? whats up with the corners popping up...they always try and fix things that aren't broken....


example live/Hotmail email.... that was a huge screw up changing that around...
 
I've heard nothing but bad about windows 8........hopefully you figure it out. My gf needed a new laptop a few months ago and we searched made sure we got something with windows 7 on it. Ended up getting an Asus and she has been pretty happy with it. I have a crappy little netbook that I use once in a while and I'll never have one again. Only space for one stick of ram in it and it will only take up to 2gigs. This thing is slow as heck and locks up all the time. It has troubles streaming youtube at the lowest quality.

I don't understand my mailman. Where I live we get our mail at a big group of mail boxes. When we get packages they put them in a bigger locked box and leave a key in our mail box. I had two packages show up today, both in small boxes which would both easily fit in the locked box. He left one box and then a notice to pick the other one up at the post office. It wasn't a delivery confirmation box or anything......annoying.

Todd doesn't agree, but Arrogant Bastard is one of my favorites. The Oaked Bastard is great too. Anything I've every had by Stone is good. I had a couple Vanilla Java Porters today for lunch.

Congrats. Have been close to pulling the trigger on a 5 many times, just never have. I need to get rid of some steel, and a few other things, to fund another backpack purchase.

Dude, if you could only see how much crap I have sitting around, haha. I need a pack for my wife, and that takes care of the bigger money items. All I have left after that, is rain gear for her, and pack covers. About it. Oh, and trekking poles, and water bladders. ;)
