Gentleman Jim...Thoughts.

Where can I get scales for the GJ?

Custom work on any knife, regardless of brand should be requested through the Exchange.
Look through here and see if anything looks close to what you want, or if anyone is doing that specific work:

If you don't find anything, then you want to start a thread here:

Those are very kind words that I don't think I deserve but I am honored. Thank you very much.

Thanks ER, that's exactly what I wanted to see. I was mistakenly under the impression the EB was a good bit smaller than the GJ.

Received my GJ today. Absolutely beautiful. Just wondering about the detent when it's closed. I can see the detent ball on both liners. I can shake the blade out pretty easily. I tightened the pivot screw down and lost my buttery smoothness. Any ideas?

Is it possible the arm with the detent ball isn't bent enough? Maybe you could bend it a bit more so it applies more pressure to the blade.

I'll try that this evening. I never thought of that. Thank you. I'll let you know how it worked.

I just bent the detent ball arm slightly and it worked like a charm. It was flush with the liner. The blade favors the lock side now, but the detent is rock solid now. Thanks again.

I love the El Bandito!!! Its one of my favorite designs! I love stabby knives lol. Since there aint been a picture of a custom Gentleman Jim yet here is mine.
