Gentlemans Folder Recommendation?

For something neat, unique, and dressy appropriate, and just under that $50 mark, I'd suggest taking a look at A G Russell's Titanium Funny Folder. It's got a VG10 blade, and it's a pretty neat little knife. Definitely two handed opening though.

Spyderco Centofonte/3
Cheap Kershaw Crown
Any Victorinox

Buck Canoe
GEC might be a bit high end but check out their patterns.

Of the knives I own, I would choose the Spyderco Kiwi 4 (It has a clip.) or the GEC Ben Hogan (#65). These exceed your $50 budget. My fall back would be a SAK, probably something like a Tinker or Bantam, both of which I own.

Added: I carried the Kiwi 4 at a wedding a couple of weeks ago and it worked just fine. It's a very slim knife with G10 scales.

Mcusta gentlemans knife really a nice setup check it out...superb build quality

Since you already have a Kershaw, how about another - a Leek? I think one of those would "dress up" nicely. Also, think the same about an Opinel (no. 8) or a Case Slimline Trapper.

Have you thought about posting this in the Traditionals sub-forum?

I actually posted in that subforum a month ago regarding the buck 110 and didn't get any views let alone comments, so I figured I'd post it in general, since a lot more people go through general than the sub categories.I apologize if this bothers anyone, and will move it if you want me to

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks, kind of looking for a one hand opener

The one hand opener is a new condition to the theme of this thread. Oh well....

The assisted opening SOG Twitch II would fit your needs.

The one and only Spyderco Chaparral. CLASSY, thin, beautiful, solid, cuts like a razor.... Look it up. There are better pics out there, but here is mine....

These are some suggestions off the top of my head...

Moki Fish Owl (small) - small, lightweight, non-threatening.
Victorinox Cadet in Alox
Case Mini Copperlock
Spyderco G10 Dragonfly 2

Those top three are three of my most favorite knives. I keep 6 or 7 knives in my carry pack, and those three are always in there. Been meaning to get a Dragonfly too, but haven't yet.

The small Moki Fish Owl really impresses me. I have to really look hard and hold it at the right angle to see where blade meets lock bar. Outstanding F&F, and at a great price for what you get IMO. I need to get the large one day.

Boker Exskelibur / Exskelimoor has
many scale choices to fit your occasion. Price is around 80 to 100.

The Cold Steel Code 4 series are pretty classy looking. Some of the versions in CTS-XHP come in at under $80 shipped, too. The AUS8 versions are significantly less than that.

These two are my favorite gent options. I mean to get a couple of nice traditionals at some point though.

Nice recommendation Quigibo. I've yet to pull the trigger on the Moki line myself but wow, everytime I see one.

Rough Rider 858 small trapper with imitation tortoise shell covers. 2 7/16 inches closed, fits in watch pocket. 1 7/8 inch clip and spey blades, match strike nail nicks, comes sharving sharp out of the box.
A peanut pattern would also be a good choce.
