I just wanted to let everyone know about the great experiences that I've had dealing with George and Carol of Tichbourne Knives ( www.tichbourneknives.com ). I was introduced to George's work a few months ago via his link on the Top of Texas Knives website. I purchased one of his Bowie knives and a large chef's knife and I have been delighted with the quality of his work. Tichbourne Knives' customer service has been uniformly excellent; George and Carol have always been willing to "go the extra mile" to answer any questions (and some of mine were pretty stupid!) and take whatever actions were necessary to make the customer happy. The knives are also tremendous values
their materials and workmanship far outclasses any other knives I've seen in this price range.
A while back, I decided that George's kitchen knives would make excellent Christmas gifts for various members of my family. George and Carol were extremely cooperative and really went out of their way to make sure that the knives were available in time for the Holidays. The knives just arrived the quality is impeccable and the knives were individually packaged for convenient gift-wrapping.
Kudos are also due for the good folks at Top of Texas Knives ( www.toptexknives.com ). Tichbourne Knives has made arrangements with ToT to process orders and credit card charges for their customers in the US this really makes the whole process painless. Once the knives were ready, I just had to give Marti at Top of Texas a call and everything was taken care of in a snap!
Tichbourne Knives and Top of Texas have really simplified my Holiday shopping this year I love the fact that I'm able to give elegant, practical gifts that reflect my passion for quality cutlery. No more shopping mall crowds for me
