Gerber Paraframe with magnetic blade??

By the way any self-respecting knife lover would have taken their coworker's Paraframe and given the coworker one of their knives.

Dropped the ball while absorbed by magnetism. Just sayin'.

As with others- Tear it up in W&C..Keep it out of the rest of the forum.

Says a banned member 7 years ago. Not the most trustworthy source. Who knows now. It's usually not even 7cr good if they don't list it.
So if somebody gets banned , then that proves they are wrong factually ? Guys get banned for attitude as much as anything .

Cold Kill was/is dkb45.

Still, that was 6+ years ago, so who knows what Gerber makes them with now. Could be 7Cr17MoV, could be worse. Never a good sign when nobody lists it. Crap steel either way, and terrible design. I haven't held the larger one, but the small one I handled had so much flex in the handle that it felt like it'd be safer if I took the blade off entirely and just held the blade.

I emailed Gerber regarding what type of Steel was used in the paraframe. This was their response.

"Hello,

The paraframe should be made with the 2cr13 steel If there is anything else we can do for you please feel free to reach out to us again. Thank you, have a nice day. "

It's no wonder why they don't tell you what kind of stainless steel they use. Even more reason to avoid the Gerber of today.

And that is why we don't believe info in 6+ old thread from a banned troll.

Maybe she meant "could be" or "might be"? LOL, wow. I guess the Gerber team isn't really sure themselves.
