Parkers knives in general were pretty good. I think the bad reputation was more because of Jim Parkers shady ways than the quality of the knives. The 2nd gen Bulldogs made by Olbertz for Parker are just as good as the first generation of Bulldogs they made for Charlie Dorton. The only thing to watch for is some had celluloid handles.....
