I make it a point to use every knife I get now, yeah I still have a couple shelf queens which I intend to get rid of. As they'll lose dramatic value if I use them.. go from $500 to half that..

When I get my knew HI AKB I'll make a point to show its wear the first day.. and post pics..

I have a "no shelf queen" policy. If I own unused knives they are intended as backups, and if I go a year or so without needing a backup I sell it or give it away. Christmas is typically a good time to get rid of those pesky non-users.

If people don't have anything positive to ad...y do they bother to post at all. I think it's a good idea to get offline every now and again and actually use them for there intended purpose. Unless of course they are only for collecting, like the op stated. SO HE WASN'T TALKING TO YOU.

Haven't checked this thread since I posted it. Yeah I posted this with 'conviction' as I was on the internet surfing/reading adn dreaming about knives.. way to much.. we're all guilty, I was simply being goofy, and quick kill nailed it, some of you got all offended, get ahold of yourself man I'm on your side..

Went outside for a brief time today and practically cut my thumb off no lie, killed the whole couple hours I had planned for a review..

Bastid, those knives are just sick I love it.... I do have some shelf queens and there's nothing wrong with that as I said, I'm just thinning the herd....If I had knives (investments) like yours I'd never even think about using 'em..

Teal hunting this morning back in the marsh. Used Buck Mayo TNT to cut line for rigging some decoys at last minute and breast out some blue wings.
