  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Get together at the CPK compound on November 12th, the day after the cutting competition.

He's a ghost

He has no face or name... his goal in life is to collect every unknown and known CPK ...... store them in multiple boxes ... and make you understand why he's the king lol
I do agree that he’s the King. You however, did meet the great one and Cassinostocks swears he picked him out in a photo. The handsome young lad apparently does exist. Where’s Waldo ?

A great day today doing the Outlaw Cut with "one-on-one" coaching during the run from the Champion Dan Keffeler! (He provided this for all the participants if they wanted it.)

The knife show following the competition was awesome with some really fine one-offs available and that were picked randomly via Rock/Paper/Scissors shootouts.

The end of the day was topped off with some outstanding grilled filet-mignon prepared by Chef Nathan! 😍

Marc Grenock Grenock who posts around the CPK sub-forum from time to time is a BOSS "CPK Collector" and he brought down to the Mooresville compound a truly dope assortment of rare CPK's! 😲 Instead of King Rooster it might be better to think of him from now on as The Museum! 😀

Here is a quick photo of my weekend Pirate Booty/Loot:
Crucarta Getto Grind BFK
Satin Hollow Grind with swedge DEK1 MC (An identical twin to Yoko's sample by mine was clearly first born with darker and more fully buffed double red micarta scales.) 😉
One-off Mark Scimgeour Reaper with a custom Elephant hide Chad Pirtle-Made canted sheath.
Also up on top a custom Pirtle-Made sheath for my Fiddleback Forge Bourbon Street Skinner

It was awesome to meet you and your wife (and your doggy!!)

And funny to find out we have instinctively the same taste in knives and beer lol

Fun day, hell of a day actually:) Beyond thankful for the whole CPK team for having us all!

Also had a blast in todays outlaw chop. I placed 3rd over all & arguable 1st for the amateurs😁 Much more to be said but also exhausted. Here’s my haul minus a “few little things”

Satin AEBL DEK1
Satin MC hollow ground primary and spine swedge DEK1
Two Reapers… Behemother trade anyone?

Great to meet you today!!!!!!

You as well yoko yoko ! Got to see a few familiar faces and plenty of new ones!! Love these CPK meetups, wherever they may be. I hope the compound becomes an annual thing! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. CPK attracts the best people! Come for the sick knives, stay for the community.
