Getting ignored when trying to buy something....

Yea, I realized my mistakes. Just new to using the forums and trying to get a better idea on what right and wrong. So thanks for the knowledge. Try and pardon my stupidity. Me and the seller have since figured it out, and the knife is on the way. :)

You're welcome. :) And also wanted to add, that I really admire your very positive, civil attitude.

You've been given some excellent advice on the do's and don'ts, pertaining to proper forum decorum. I'm happy for you, that you were still able to work out an agreement with the seller, & you ended up with this knife despite all of this. < This speaks highly of the seller's character.

Perhaps you can post an update when your new knife arrives, along with a couple of pictures. :)

I don't really know what to do right now... There is a knife I'm very much interested in purchasing on the forum but the seller is just ignoring my posts. I've taken to getting a fellow member PM him on my behalf as I don't have a membership. Kinda lost as to what to do as I'm set on getting my hands on it.
You've been catching a lot of heat in this thread, maybe deservedly so, but I have to commend you on the positive way you have handled the criticism.

Looks like you were just really excited for this one, congratulations on landing it. Some folks make little effort to try to understand the flow of the site, so kudos for good-naturedly accepting the critique. I hope you enjoy that new blade.

Thanks everyone for the information again :) And yea I was definitely excited. I'm a student working part time so not everyday I come by a knife I really want to and can drop that much money on. Not excusing my behavior, but definitely pumped for the knife and being more part of the forum :D

if you have to post your email address, it's best to type it like this: some dude at hotmail dot com
Rather than: "somedude@hotmail.com"
Otherwise the bots will get it and take over your life!
Skynet, man! Skynet.
Also, if somebody is online you will see the top left corner of their avatar pic colored green. If it's not green they are either not online or have chose to appear that way.

To add:
Anyone on the internet can see the for sale and trade threads.
To help protect yourself, make sure that you verify that you are speaking to the correct person and they are in fact a Bladeforums member.
Then edit out your email address after private communication has started.

To be even more of a part of this forum, whenever you can afford to, consider becoming a paid member at any level and show your support.
