REAL Aussies would roast and eat that spider!..............................................................:D

Here's a huntsman we had in our house a little while ago. She was chasing christmas beetles and finally caught one. The beetle is about an inch long.

....
We get many around at our place too, but this looks to be the largest one I've seen. I went through one's web once whilst mowing the lawn and it crawled around on my head and gave me a nip on the back of my neck. Apparently they have a potent venom, but luckily it didn't affect me.

I used to think Robs Crazy Horror art was just fantasy...

Ahuh... :p :D

That's a pretty lady.

I don't particularly like spiders, but I do recognize some of them are particularly beautiful. And they are useful. Anything that will eat a mosquito or horsefly is not my enemy.

so did you just let her be? Or get her out somehow?

I used to keep Wolf spiders as pets, I also had a Tarantula when I was a kid. It escaped in the house, for some reason my Mom and sister have always given me a menacing look when ever I visit them. That's one beauty of a spider, just glad it has to swim the Pacific ocean to get to me, and my Battlegrade Ak47 will be waiting to greet it.

That's what I was thinking. Boil 'em like crawfish.

Class!

Great Scott Robbo!

Next down under razorbacks chop fest we'll have to see to of few of those mosters I reckon. But You'd better wait until we all get there... Safety in numbers I reckon.
