Hi Guys
I finished this one some time ago in 2012 and wanted to check how it would look like with simple etchings. Probably I will make more etchings in the future, especially on smaller “gift knives” for my friends and family (so rather not on big working blades) but I have to learn a lot about how to do that properly. This was my first try.

PS the blade is 5mm thick NZ3 steel about 23cm long with deer stag handle and SS fittings.

Do you mind sharing how you finish the wood on your handles?

Thanks After finish with 2000 water paper i keep the handle in linseed oil varnis bath for couple of hours. Then after it dries (day or two) I usually use carnauba wax paste.

Hi guys. I have two big stacked leather handled knives on my bench and they were first in order to finish but since i've been waiting 3 weeks for the stainless steel for guards and pommels i used this time to finish few less complicated projects.

Two small ones

This next one was for me and ive changed the handle from paracord wrap to rubber

And a simple chopper 10,5 '' of cutting edge
