Good afternoon friends,
I am very interested to hear what knife you all would suggest as a wedding gift for my son-in-law. He is brand new to knives and I've been a budget collector for several years. I am really looking for a perfect wedding gift knife for him that would be a bit of a wow factor and just be great knife all around.

I guess in my mind, the budget would be no more than $350. I really have my eye on the Tactile Maverick or something that is classy looking like that. So throw the options out there, unless it is agreed that the Tactile is a great piece.

I actually bought these the day each of my daughter's was born, one day for their husbands

Marriage can be painful if you're not paying attention, there are no locks, you must pay attention to what you're doing or you can get hurt. I figured this was an analogy that I wanted to teach my future son-in-laws. I also took care of these, knowing everyday my daughters were growing up that one day they would be a gift so I've always taken good care of them.

I really like the new Ferrum Forge Stinger with the button lock. Or the iQ-L from Quiet Carry.
IQ gets my vote. However, when my beautiful daughter got married, she herself ended up with the knife I was carrying that day. Vintage USA Schrade 34ot. My son-in-law just got my Chris Reeve 21 insingo for Father’s Day as he is a knife nut too

Custom Shop Buck 110/112 with Water Buffalo or Stag handles. Can have it engraved. G2 Gary can make you a nice leather sheath. I have a drop point S30 110 with Nickel / Water Buffalo. Can send pictures if you like…

Would be great to see that piece. I bet it's beautiful...

I kind of like the civivi chevalier I think it is called.

They do a nice wood Damascus version.

And by the way when it is a gift. Don't under rate the power of a good box.
