This is not meant to "fire" this back up, but a point needs to be made here.

We can't afford to keep this light. There is more money passing through this forum on a daily basis than probably just about any other. The only basis for this "money/knives" passing back and forth is the trust we have in one another. You lose this trust and this whole thing goes up in flames (yes, thats a piss poor pun, but I haven't been up long enough to get my morning caffeine fix). Yes we have disagreements between members and there are members that don't really care for each other...but, you don't see Code3 posting personal sh*t in this thread. Code3 is an adult and can speak for himself. If he had felt it necessary to continue his disagreement here he would have done it himself. AND no one here has felt the need to slam Code3 here. YOU are the only one continueing this in a thread where it didn't belong.
Now, you did apologize and I can't speak for GigOne, but I do appreciate your effort and hopefully this will end the negative aspects of this thread.

Dealing with GigOne is as good as it gets! Plain and simple.If he wasn't such a great guy, why would so many long time, very active forumites come to his defense? There is only one way to gain such loyalty. I want you all to know that I harbor no ill will whatsoever against Jeff (GigOne), and that I do respect his opinion. I hope that he respects my opinion, and we agree to disagree, and move on.
I admit I made some mistakes in that thread, and am genuinely sorry for my attitude.
I share everyone's passion for these forums, and knife collecting, Thats why I [VOLUNTEERED to become a moderator, and help out a place I love so much. Yes, I am human, and make mistakes, and I am also man enough to admit those mistakes, and pay the consequences for those mistakes. I got dumped on pretty heavily in that thread, and to be honest, I almost resigned my moderators position because of it. I lost a TON of respect, and that is going to effect my ability to be a moderator here.
I have nothing but respect for Jeff, and the way he conducts his business on the forums. He is above reproach, fair, and prompt. I have yet to deal with him personally, but the others who he has dealt with heap on the praise, and that makes him one of the good guys to deal with.

First off. . .I want to reiterate that I have absolutely no ill feelings towards CODE 3 ! There are very few people in this world that have made it to my "enemy for life" list. CODE 3 isn't one of them !
With that said. . .I can only imagine how hard it is to set aside the personal side of being a knife knut from the moderator side. Can any of you fathom how tuff it is, for a moderator, to mind their P's & Q's when around a bunch of whack jobs like us ? :sad: I can't !
I believe in that old saying, Live and Let Live. Im pretty partial to Live Life Full Throttle. . .but Live and Let Live speaks volumes !

Simply put, this issue wasn't really that important in the grand scheme of things, and while I still hold the same opinion, I'm not going to get anyone to agree with me by being a prick, and resorting to name calling, ect.
