Girl seeking help

Well, we-all certainly have been trippin' on this thread

And the good Ms. Goodapples definitely held her own :)

Very kool

Kasik sends :p

I don't believe goodapples is female but instead just some dude having fun with us. Just my opinion based on what I feel are exaggerated flirtatiuos female overtures such as contained in these quotes from our resident lawyer sweetheart.

"Clark, where have you been all my life?"

"nothing so far, sweetheart"

"You are a very wonderful man. I think I'm in love with you, taking care of me like that. Is the problem corrected?"

"Are all y'all married? Why are all the good ones taken? I'd be happy to show you my knife, if I can see all of yours."

"Yes, I do belong to Mutt. But I might give someone a little peek if they can answer my knife question. "

"I'm betting that these fine, manly gentlemen have LOTS of women swarming around them."

'Mutt, I haven't received any of your emails. Of course, I would respond."

"How about all you manly single men post your pictures? I'm ready to conduct some interviews."

"Too young for what? You look good to me."

"Show yourself, CapCase. C'mon."

"I guess our emails don't like each other. I even sent you some more pictures and was hoping you would send me one, or post one."

"You are a wonderful man"....."I'd love to see a picture of you in uniform?"

"great manly pose you sent. I can see that you carry such a BIG Knife."

"Muttin', not only are you a stud, but you are funny as well."

"Thanks, doll. What part of Texas are you in?"

"Oh Muttin', you always know just what to say."

...."and hope that I didn't hit anybody with my pointed heels.
(Although Mutt swears that he likes that. )"

By the way even if you are a dude I'd date you. You sure as hell talk a lot nicer toward men than my wife. :D

Just my opinion.

Why would a mature female lawyer, start off a thread like "Gee you hunky guys, I'm just a girl and need some knife help"?

One would think that if a highly-educated lawyer was coming to seek knife help, it would be something like "Greetings, I am trying to identify a particular knife....." with no particular reference to gender.

Like I said just my opinion, I have enjoyed reading all this...

RWS, I'd like to date you, too. ;) ;) I really appreciate being called your "resident sweetheart." ;) ;) (And I've been thinking about stepping out a little on Mutt (SSssshhhh)).

Are there others that think I'm a man, too ? Is this is a Boys-Only-No-Girls-Allowed club? :( There seem to be so many nice, intelligent gentlemen here, that would be a shame.

There are a few other women who post regularly. They tend to get a lot of attention. When women go to knife shows they get a lot of attention, too, but without the arguments over whether they're really women or not. So maybe it's not as much fun? I don't know....

A lot of guys who are involved in a primarily male hobby like knives are fascinated by the idea of a woman who shares that interest. Others are afraid it might be too good to be true (and in fact there have been men who have pretended to be women here and elsewhere on the net, and there are women who pretend to be men.)

Sometimes the way some of the members act when a new woman comes into the room embarrasses me, and sometimes it amuses me. I guess the women probably feel much the same about it as I do....

So are you embarassed or amused this time?

I'm not going to say the name, since it seems to be taboo around here..but I believe it begins with a "K", and sounds like Lisa..

Err, that's a big negative on that one...

Boy or Girl, Man or Woman, goodapples has certainly held her own here and is most definately welcome to hang around.

Enjoy your visit goodapples and stay around as long as you can stand it. For the most part we are good people and I for one enjoy your company.

Now Mutt, you stop it

You stop it right now!

Oh really...

This has all to be just way too much.

Yes, but Mutt's knife keeps folding up at the most inopportune times (I think that's known as "Premature Interlocking").

"Never has so much been posted by so many about so little."

"Knife content? We don't need no steenkin' knife content!"

But a great thread! ;) (8,200+ )
