Git some M4 !!!

The Ritter blade has a much higher grind than the normal grip. They are both flat ground and both slice very well however the Ritter with its longer taper of the secondary bevel really outslices the grip. I personally think that the Ritter is worth the extra money ESPECIALLY right now when you can get the M4 blade for like 30 bucks more. I would not miss this run my friend, if you wait too long and miss out you can expect to pay around $275 or so on the aftermarket (which is insane).

the ritter having the DLC coating is a big advantage. fine u guys got me! i will be ordering one today. i hope the cheap feeling handle doesn't freak me out. i'm going to use it so as long as the handle is strong then idk if it feels cheap.

i used to carry a zt 0350 but in philly the cops love to b!tch about assisted opening

Hi ar0maticdecay -

I would not call the handle cheap, but it does have a "hollow" sound to it if you peck at it with your fingers etc., I guess that is because it is somewhat hollow.

I cannot flex the handle or make it "give" at all with my hands, so it seems plenty strong.

I would really have liked to see these hardened up to 64 or so instead of 60-62.

I'd buy a mini if that was the case. Also to the guy who said the wilkins grips were like twice as expensive as they should be, it's not like youre getting a benchmade handle or anything. the quality is worth the price of admission if you can afford it.

I don't disagree, as long as you're talking about the large? The small feels and sounds very solid because it has essentially full length liners.

The handle is plenty strong and rugged- never heard of any problem with it other than the sound it makes. Kept me off of full size Grips for a long time. If it bothers you too, you can pack them with any number of substances to deaden the sound and/or add weight if you want to change the feel. It's really not a problem once you get used to them.

even if it's a custom i still feel 140 is way too much for what it is. if it was CF then it would be a different story but not for g10.

i have no dout that the handle is very strong. going to take some getting used to since it will sound hollow and cheap (but very strong).

Wilkins are not very common... supply and demand... wilkins are also unique and awesome... to me... they are worth it. If you take the 150 dollar m4 ritter grip... add the 150 wilkinsgrips... the knife will feel like a $300 blade. That means they are worth it right there.

or i can spend 250 and get teh bm gold class with CF handles

idk i acually plan on using this knife a lot so the normal grips should be just fine.

I still vote for the Gold Class Grip. M4 + CF for $250. Feels like $250 blade. You get a lot of cool boxing and goodies too. But then again, don't buy the Gold Grip. When they go out of production mine will be worth that much more.
