Considering how sketchy and incomplete his giveaway was, no, I don't think so.
 
It is his GAW and he should be able to do it the way he wants ~~ myself - - - I think he did the right thing and he owes nobody any kind of explanation about anything to anybody.!***** Get a life and get over it ~~ you are just another poor loser ~~ go into a corner and cry { RWS }..!!!!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If I was giving away a knife like this and got accused of lying about even having it I,d be Pissed too, and as others have said HIS knife His give a way,
as long as their was a winner That should be enough ,

You have no idea who I am or how "poor" I am or what kind of "loser" I am. I will tell you this. I am someone who doesn't tolerate the thought of people coming to a place I worship and having him/her muck it up with scams. I'm not saying this gaw was a scam, but the way it was handled leads me to question the real nature of the thing and I think anyone participating in it has the right to know a few more details about it.

As a member who was invited to participate in a gaw where the ONLY criteria were to post "I'm in" for one entry and a pic of "your favorite Leatherman" for a second entry, I want to know what random number generator was used by him and how it was applied to chose the winner.

I then want to know who was disqualified and why they were disqualified if "politeness" was never a criterion for qualification.

If you choose to bury your head in the sand, knock yourself out.

He didn't say how the winner would be picked, he didn't post any picture of the knife, he said some rude people were out of the give away, he posted pictures in another thread that was not his. Geez you'd think if he wanted to give a Sebenza away he could do it the way the ones that never give anything away think he should, shouldn't he? :p
 
Congrats to Knoefz

I think the issue most people had was that he used ebay images instead of taking his own, leading many to doubt its existence. So as of now no one has actually seen the knife in question. As long as Knoefz gets it then all is well I think. Sure its nice to win a GAW but I don't get my feelings hurt over fake ones.

Honestly, if I were doing the giveaway, I wouldn't want to include the people who were flinging accusations around and getting the thread locked.

Hmm I wouldn't want to give anything to a select group of people here period. Namely the ones that feel they run the place when they don't.

All of that plus the fact that his camera was broken, but he got a new one to post pics in another thread today but we still haven't seen the knife...

Not really trying to stir anything here but it all just sounds too iffy to me.
 
You are owed zip, nada, naditso, zilch, nuttin'. Quite a few of you are owed being banned from the site IMO.

No other giveaway host has ever been asked those question in my time here. Or had a 10+ page W&C thread about them etc.:barf:

If I ever host a giveaway, the following line will be included.
"I have the right to exclude any member from the giveaway for idiot behavior"

I might have to clean it up a little, else I'll be accused of being vague.
 
I think that a rational person would just take a picture of the knife and end the controversy of weather he has said CRK.
