while nobody here is "owed" anything, it is a fact that:
1.The OP has been proved to host stolen images from other sites (see his opinel review thread), putting into question the credibility of ownership of his "Sabenza"
2. In recent threads he claims to have worked for a store called "house of knives" for 6 years, while in another post inferrs he is only 16 (so he's been working there since he was 10??...plus he has the gramatical aptitude of a 4th grader & thats giving him credit)
3. Has changed the rules of his GAW without notice to include "nice posts" and exclude whomever he feels. While this is his right, its not good form at all.
So he isnt being 100% up front about who he is, and has been proven a liar about what he owns. I myself will reserve final judgment for when the winner follows up on whether or not the prize was real, but its not looking good.

He may not be able to, he said he bought a new camera and took some pictures of his multitool posted them seeking advice and they didn't turn out so well. So, we should all just remain calm and see what the winner says about what he gets. At this point wouldn't that be a great idea? Just put down the pitchforks, hot tar & feathers and see what happens?

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you. BUT, given everything that Rival nicely laid out for everyone I'm still calling BS.
I didn't enter the GAW either, so I could care less what happens but man it sure is fun to watch on a slow work day.

I'd be more curious to find out if the "winner" is a legit member, and not a sock puppet account. It's not like it hasn't happened before....seems I recall a thread about a knife dealer having a GAW and awarded himself (under another screen name) the win.

Whether this turns out to be legit or not, I respectfully ask the moderators to keep an eye on it. If it is legit, it is a very generous give away and I will applaud the OP. Let's not sharpen our pitchforks yet. But if it turns out to be bogus, I hope some action will be taken. We've had issues with fake givaways before, and whatever their motivation, it brings our great community down and I don't think they should be tolerated. Thanks.
