Give it to me straight -- a celebration of coping, lambsfoot, sheepsfoot, and wharncliffe blades.

Fodderwing Fodderwing What an astounding 57! Is that Primitive Bone? Makes my Pickle Green Tidioute look like an ugly :D:thumbsup: Not too sure about that Pruner though...;) aren't you bending it a bit from the straight & narrow? :D

Thank you Will! It is primitive bone indeed. :)
And our Straight and Narrow is the path of the Serpentine Sirens ... is it not? :D

Took longer than I thought to post after I cut myself during opening the knife for the first pic! Found out I was out of band-aids and had to go to the store :D!
Anyway, here's my contribution to this great thread.

I know that I have a few but certainly not even close to what Jack Black Jack Black has . His are incredible and just go on and on . IMHO the Sheepfoot and Lambfoot blades are the most versatile of all the different types that I have tried .

I love a good straight-edge; although I prefer them as a secondary blade, I have single blades as well, and the sheepfoot is my favorite.

I particularly like the size, shape and the tip on the GEC Cuban stockman's sheepfoot

I, too, like the straight edge. However, in many situations a curved edge with some belly is vastly preferred. This is precisely why so many of the pictured examples in this thread have both. Two of my personal favorites are GEC's #35 (both Churchill and Calf Pen Jack) and the two-blade #48 from the 2107 run.

Wow, some great-looking straight-edges folks :)

Ouch! Taking photographs is the most dangerous thing I have ever done with a knife I think! :D A fine collection OG, what is the bottom knife in your Lambsfoot pic? Beautiful re-covered Belgian clasp knife
