giveaway - benchmade 530

I would love to own it. The reason being that it is small enough that I could encourage my wife to carry it because she doesn't like carrying any of the knives that I own.

I've never owned a Benchmade because I just can't afford them honestly.

I've always wanted to try the famous axis lock, and IIRC this particular model is super light, would make an excellent EDC for sure!
 
It's a handsome knife. I really like the spearpoint blade profile.

I don't own a Benchmade, and it's doubtful that I will be able to afford an expensive knife anytime soon. My next purchase is probably going to be a Byrd. My two best carry knives are my SAK and a Klein Tools wharncliffe.

It would also be fun to try a premium blade steel and the famed Axis lock.

The only 2 knives I have are a Kershaw leek and a spyderco bug, so I probably have less knives than pretty much anyone on this forum. Also, I would really really really really really really like to try out the axis lock because 1)It's awesome and 2) I hear great things about it. Lastly I could use a new edc knife.

Don't own a Benchmade anymore the last and only one I ever owned ( Which was a B-Day present from my wife ) became part of my flooring I poured last year :(((((
 
I'd be interested to see how well it would do at my work. I fix boats for a living and often have to do a bit of exploratory digging here and there with something other than my woodworking chisels.
It would get a pretty decent workout from me, guaranteed... might even get broken.

I have several benchmades and not entering.
I just wanted to say I think this is very generous what you are doing. I had no clue how cool this forum was when I first signed up, the members really are stand up people. These give aways make it an exciting place to be a part of.
I think I might start a giveaway and the criteria will be, only those who have given away a knife here can qualify. :)
 
Please count me in. As for your other generous giveaway of an Emerson, I've never owned a Benchmade. From least to best, I've had S&W, CRKT, SOG, and a Buck Vantage Pro, but nothing over a $50 "tactical" folder. Greatly interested in different steels, locking mechanisms and ergos. Thanks for the opportunity.
 
I don't own a Benchmade, but I do have a couple of folding lockblades and I like that type of knife for EDC. The 530 has 14 reviews on the REI site, and not one "con" in any of them - so I'm definitely interested. This seems to be a cut above any of the knives I now have. (No pun intended.)
 
I don't own a Benchmade Axis lock; I do own a little Benchmade NRA Stockman from years ago. I've got several Benchmades on my 'Buy-To-Try' list, all with Axis locks. So, if I'm qualified, I'll try for this one. Thanks for the chance.

Why would I like to have a Benchmade? Thats an interesting question indeed, I have never really wanted one but as the old saying goes...I would take one if you gave it to me. I am pretty hard on my folders and it would be my honor to rough up a Benchmade.
Although my personnal knife rules do not permit me to accept a knife for free, If you were to pick me I would be bound by said rules to send you something in return. These are my terms and if you accept them, then all I can say is... Thank You Very Much you are too kind.
 
I'd love to get into this one. I don't own a benchmade at this time. I would like this one because of the axis lock and the handle kinda looks like a coffin design. Thanks for the chance in advance!

Sophomore year of high school, a guy borrowed my MiniGrip off of a Prop table during one of teh school productions, started playing with it, and sliced his whole thumb to the bone, now the knives stay with me ALWAYS

and once i had a friend drop a Bali trainer on his little toe and somehow he broke it, dont ask, i still cant figure out how
