I'm guessing that more than a few of you actually know what it's for and are using this as an opportunity to drive people crazy :p

It looks new and unused, but I suspect a polishing buff used with rouge and a drop of oil to put the final ZING on a hamon polish.

Rocketman, pm me with your shipping address.

It's used as a backing when I'm stabbing holes in sheaths, some people use beeswax but I find it too messy. It's really helped improve the quality of my leatherwork I think. Leatherwork is a lot easier if you make a few simple tools like a stitching pony and this. It helps keep the seam from moving while stabbing the holes.

Cut grass?!?! For goodness sakes, I had to shovel snow this morning... first day of spring, my behind :grumpy:

Well the grass has needing cutting for a couple of weeks. You CHOOSE to stay up there. How do you shovel snow? doesn't it melt by 9 am? That's what happens down here if we get a bit of snow.

At work you can always tell what the weather in the Northern car manufacturing states is like overhearing cell phone conversations at the plant. "Yeah, the Summer is hot down here but (it's January) I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt" usually followed by a stream of profanity out of the cell phone.
