Giveaway just because

This was the first time I ever tried to make bowls using the burning it out method. Worked pretty well but the one on the left split, but I learned a fair amount from it.

Here is a custom home made pot lid that I made for my Snowpeak 900 pot, the four holes on the left are how I take the lid on and off, I do this by spearing my spork into them and lifting, also the lid has water drain holes for straining water out.

It make of aluminum flashing and it is held in place with little tabs folded down.

I wasn't happy at all with the quality or size of bandanna's that you can find so I made my own double thick one.

That last pic is everything nested and packed up. That includes the cookset, the alcohol stove, the fuel bottle, the blue rag, the pot stand, etc...

Oh and I am not entering the contest. Just wanted to post pics.

It's not that I don't want the sheath, but that widerstand really wants it and he edc's his bk2. Thank you for the chance to win.

If you made a fishing pole I'd love to see it posted.

Closest thing I made to a pole, was wrap a bunch of line around a beer can, when the reel on my actual pole gave up the ghost in the middle of a camping/fishing trip. I did catch 3 trout with that Coors can though :D

No. It is pretty straight forward though. Purchase StainlessLux stainless steel pencil holder, and the 2-Quart Stainless Steel Utensil Holder from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Cut holes with dremel. Many holes. Drill other holes with drill. Many holes. Purchase replacement drill bits because steel container thrashed the brand new ones you got, despite them being advertised for high speeds and metal. Vacuum up metal shavings from carpet so as to avoid being murdered by SWMBO. Spray febreeze to remove smell of burnt metal from room because your drill bits decided to hang and smoke and catch fire.

Now this setup is an exact fit for the Coleman Solo Anodized Cookset. Don't know if other stuff would fit, but for that it works perfectly.

For question number two; no idea. Haven't tried it with wood that wasn't soaking wet yet. Does work for my alcohol stove, and a sterno burner quite nicely. Sterno boiled 2cups water in 9 minutes and 30 seconds. Not great, but with over 2 hours burn time who cares. It was easy and I didn't have to watch it. Course it was on my desk, so I did watch it, kinda. (I got a little distracted, and there was some issues with the pot stand, but everything is cool now.)

Here is a sheath I made. I made It to be really thin since the glock is so blocky.

I finished my hammock, but its raining even harder today.

It's kind of hard to take a picture of something like this but here is my sleeping quilt that I sewed up.

Took about 8 hours of sitting at the sewing machine.
