This is one I made last fall, It's a 12" miter saw blade. I traced out an old Hickory knife onto the saw blade and cut it with a a hack saw. Took hours just to cut it out. The old hick was a 7'' and this is a 5''. Cut the scales out of a piece of pallet I found at work, it's mahogany. Those copper pins are electrical grounding rod. All the materials I scrounged from a jobsite, sort of.
This was my 1st one. I developed a new appreciation for custom makers who charge $ 400 - $500 for a blade.


That's a mustard patina on there. Musta put 15 hours into this one.

OK guys, I'll be getting together with the third party judge I have for this a bit later today and I'll have a winner announced sometime tonight. I'm very impressed with everything that everyone posted up. It won't be easy to decide the winner, that's for sure.

hell yeah!!!

My raft was pretty much an odd size of Styrofoam that washed up and I but it to shape with my BK2!

Ill be looking forward to the sheath greatly!!!
