You wanna know how I got these SCARS????!!!! LOL


Couple weeks later...


Well that was fun... Time for more whiskey... :thumbup:
 
For some stupid reasoning when I think I messed up my knife's edge sharpening or I'm not making any progress I always feel the need to "test" it on my skin. -_-

EDIT: I've left out all surgery scars because.. well...

some good ones here. I hope the winners are randomly picked. I don't have anything that will really compete with some of these. In fact I cannot find a scar from this.
 
Yes, the winner will be randomly picked. Thank God I chose that option, some of these are pretty horrible. Surgery scars can be accepted, if the surgery was needed due to some... unsafe actions.... as long as the story is good. Not too sure about the vasectomy scars, though.
 
Some guys just want an excuse to post pics of their sack for all to see......others don't need an excuse, just a place.

This was from an actual knife fight I was in as a teenager. As you can tell the blade barely missed the tendon. The knife (a kitchen knife) actually stuck through the bones but did not pierce the palm. I pulled away so fast I actually took the knife out of the offenders hand and it was stuck in there while he got my scissor blade across his forearm. It was so surreal, that moment of pulling the blade out, I'll never forget it. The wound is an old one but the most memorable, and at the time (when my hand was smaller) was actually really cool because we all know....chicks dig scars.

I got this from a 1st degree burn.
I was installing a burner block in the glass furnace at my work. So there were open flames.
I started to smell smoke, climbed down a small ladder...there was an open air duct blowing air, when it hit me my head went up in a ball of fire. By the time I got my clothes off, it burned through my sweatshirt hood, and two Nomex hot hoods.
Silverdine cream works wonders. My neck was a gooey mess for about a month. I was lucky to get away with only this small scar:

Scar on the little finger,looks good now,but way then it was pretty nasty,bone was clearly visible,rock climbing accident.

Not the worst scar I have but the best "dumb" story. I got this small scar when I was 12 from throwing a spear into my own knee.
The "spear" was a paint-roller that had been straightened out, sharpened, and attached to a broken broomstick. My dad made it for me to pick up trash from the yard after the dogs got into the bins.
There was an old broken swing (just a piece of 2x10 board hanging from a single remaining rope) at the edge of our yard that I decided to use as a target. Well I hit the target, the spear stuck in just deep enough to spin the board around 360 degrees and then dislodge and come spinning back at me. It stuck about a 1/4-1/2" deep just above my knee.

LOL. I dunno about a winner, but thanks Jon. Yeah, I was lucky there were scissors around for me to defend myself. I saw the guy again some years later and he really liked his scar. It was a lot bigger than mine of course. I wasn't aware a pair of scissors could do that sort of damage. We agreed fighting with knives was one of the stupidest things we could have ever done. I recommended pistols at 10 paces for next time, LOL. We are friends now anyway so its of no matter.

I have other scars from accidents and such, but they aren't as cool as this one.

No they are not....not gonna lie, cried like a baby when I cleaned this one out. I have a high threshold for a lot of pain, not skin pain though. Total wuss when it comes to road rash. Using rubbing alchohol did not help......it's all I had. I think my dog thought I was dying.
