GIVEAWAY!!! Show us your scars!

I got this from a 1st degree burn.
I was installing a burner block in the glass furnace at my work. So there were open flames.
I started to smell smoke, climbed down a small ladder...there was an open air duct blowing air, when it hit me my head went up in a ball of fire. By the time I got my clothes off, it burned through my sweatshirt hood, and two Nomex hot hoods.
Silverdine cream works wonders. My neck was a gooey mess for about a month. I was lucky to get away with only this small scar:

damn that had to be excruciating.

No they are not....not gonna lie, cried like a baby when I cleaned this one out. I have a high threshold for a lot of pain, not skin pain though. Total wuss when it comes to road rash. Using rubbing alchohol did not help......it's all I had. I think my dog thought I was dying.

I had a bad leg scrape like that once, they are not fun! Another one: When I was 16 I got "cleated" during a soccer game where the offending player scraped his screw-in cleat down the length of my shin. It hurt like a MFer! The scar is still there because it was deep. I got him back, but not as bad the following season, and I got yellow carded for it because my scrape was malicious and on purpose. LOL.

Oh man, I have a couple spots on my shin that are numb where no hair grows from soccer. I also have scars from getting pedal bite....nice littles holes..

I have a lot of pedal bite holes on the back of my calf's lol they loook like little white freckles. ;)

I cut my thumb with a knife I made. I was cutting up apples for a group of little kids for a snack. At church. Sprayed blood all over. About a 180 degree cut hit bone, and severed a nerve.

The offending knife (ghetto 5160 made in my garage, with hand tools, and heat treated in my $15 hibachi grill)

Not the worst. But It took forever to heal, and finally, I though I could take the stitches out, and it opened right back up!

The nerve is still dead. It is my shooting hand.

Scars scars everywhere are scars...I've been a big scar collector since childhood. I only posted a few that I remember the story behind...

Carved/sliced my last name into the top of my thumb when I was 15. I can't believe its already been 13 years since then. Theres another one next to it but I dont remember where the hell I got it. Its been there a while

Got this really weird dent/scar tissue build up on my shin from a mtb accident. The pedal got me really really good.

This one is another from my young and dumb days. Its hard to see what it is but its the head of a bic lighter after being lit to cherry red on the inside of the forearm. I have a similar one on my hip from a cigar but I'll spare you that one.

Got this little guy climbing through a window me and my roomate broke after locking ourselves out of the apartment. The good ol' days...

Lastly, this is the one and only time I've ever had a knife pulled on me, nevermind used. Some maniac at a mutual friends house caught me on the arm just above the inside of the elbow. Probably the most theatrical scar I have. Too bad it was put there by a loser with a flea market folder. :grumpy:

This one was when i was in middle school, some punk pulled a razor on me in the bathroom...so i got this scar and he has permanent chicken pox looking ones on him from my pen... lol needless to say we both got expelled... (oh and a week after the incident my cousin decides to punch my bandaid....ripping it back open, thus the weird looking v on top haha.

running through thorny bushes...and i got jabbed with a piece of metal (red raised up scar)

Working in the auto body shop and was climbing on this vintage 1930's something bus(frame was made out of wood, real mind blower lol) but yea i climbed to the back window and got caught on a piece of metal...

Here's my entry to the contest.

I got these on the job while using my Becker BK9, hacking through nasty underbrush that just plain had to go.

I have more scars then I can count, but this is the only scar I have so far for being stupid with a Becker.

I got bit by my BK2 while chopping the small branches off of a dead tree for the fire pit.

Guess I lucked out with only 4 stitches since the 2 is such a tank.

I'm so posting to this later......I got a messed up work schedule right now....standyby for awesomeness.

This is what happens when the enemy runs out of ammo and decides it time to use his knife. This is after several surgeries to repair the bayonet damage. Iraq 1991.

I've got a scar from above my right eye to the bottom of my chin, from my head going through the rear window of a Toyota. My biking glasses protected my eye but it cut all the way through my lower lip and broke off a lower tooth. I don't have any good photos and I don't want to compete for the prize. The ER doctor sewed on my for 2 hours and did a good job of putting everything back together. 3 years later it isn't very visible.

I don't remember what happened so I'm telling myself that I didn't do anything wrong.

There were a few other injuries and my bicycle is totaled.

This one isn't a scar yet but it will be. BK11 bite from a couple of days ago...
