Glenn Are Hovin WIP thread The Konsulent.

Wow, nice!!!

Stan's influence is evident in your work, from the general shape of the knife, to the pivot button release and the filework. You just couldn't find a better mentor in knifemaking! Congrats on being the only person I've seen thus far to even reach to this level!

BTW the knife you posted on FB from 10-16 is just incredible also!

update is coming..

well and a statement.

Stan Wilson, Frank Fischer is good friends of mine. My influencess have been official from day 1. But I sadly say that this knife will be 1 of 2 made. I have finished a flipper version some days ago, but with the haters out there you can give a big thanks to them cause of this desicion. This knife was a huge thing and many customers was waiting to get one themself. Again you can all thanks them that will now not happen.

for now have a nice day

/Glenn

updates is coming on this WIP, I just have to upload the pictures.

I'm not sure what you mean by haters?
Is it correct to say that Stan Wilson and Frank Fischer are supportive of the work you're doing?

Just a ton of folks on IG saying he's copying Frank, Todd or Stan's work, it's nothing original, why can't you make something unique... etc. etc. Normal IG drama :barf:

If those makers ARE supportive then I say have at it, keep doing what you're doing!

The pictures aren't coming up for me right now (darn you, Photobucket crash!), but I found you and your knives over on Instagram and...dude. Wow. Mad props to you, those look absolutely incredible!!!

Don't let the small people with a keyboard and ZERO balls stop what looks to be a fantastic addition to the knife world. The ones with the fast typing skills most likely wouldn't buy a knife anyway.

My advice Stay the course.

sorry my chose of word "haters"

miss leading of me. Yes I have full support by Stan and Frank.

I chose to drop this model so I can move on without getting the comparison headache. I understand that not everyone can know about the releations I have with Stan and Frank.

What about all the people who think you are awesome? That should outweigh the critics.
Don't let a few people dictate the things you want to do.

I admit that I am a person with a lot of feelings, but again as me and Frank agreed on is that people with huge passion for their work can also bring you down with great feelings. I just have to grow up and take every experience with me in a positive way. thank you sir :)

Here we go folks and again thanks for showing interest.
