I am good at taking them apart! But the real skill is remaking them. . . Sigh. .
You are the Mann, Glenn, badd or nott!

I don't think you can go wrong by letting Glen fix it, he's great to deal with and does fantastic work, I don't think there is anyway you could be disappointed.

Amazing talent---Awsome work--I am so in awe that some people have such great talent. Glenn is truly Baaaaad.

Very impressive work. I especially liked the TL-29 (I'm partial to wharncliffe blades).

As I said on our other home Glen, the transformation into the teardrop is like a larva into a beautiful butterfly.

You guys are probably getting tired of seeing these, LOL.

THREAD FAILl! I never get tired of seeing these. I see the peanut you fixed for me as I carry it. A couple of weeks ago at lunch in a Korean joint with a couple of old Army buddies, I showed them the peanut you fixed. One of them cut his finger on the super sharp clip point with the exclamation , "DAMN!" Good laugh at that. Then yesterday I poked myself good with the same blade when cleaning it and remembered John's surprise at lunch. Brought a smile to my face.

You resurrect knives. And you do it well. I'll never get tired of reading about and seeing these projects. So, in reply to your comment, I say THREAD FAIL. Post more.

Thank you so much for the nice words, everyone. It does mean alot to me.

Stay tuned, got something coming up.

As I came home from my walk this morning and trying to beat the rain, I noticed a USPS box by my carport door. I was not expecting anything and had left my glasses inside.

Looked like it came from Dave something in New Mexico!!!:eek::) Oh my gosh - knowtracks has mailed me his SKUNK !!!:eek::eek::p

As I hurried inside, it occurred to me that Dave was not from New Mexico - maybe farther north?? It did not smell much like a SKUNK anyway. :foot::confused::confused::D

I get inside with my spectacles on and notice it says Glenn from New Hampshire!!! :o :D

Now excited, because I remembered I sent him my old 1975 Case XX model 63083 red bone whittler for some needed work, a while back.

I bought the knife at a knife show last year and it was in outstanding condition for it's age. The main blade opening felt "not right" to me and the bolster pins were proud. I did not feel comfortable with the fix and sent it to Glenn for more expert repair. ;)

He did a fine job with the fix and I am proud to say that I am really delighted with the old knife - he made a nice old knife much nicer and it has found my watch pocket for the remainder of the day!! ;) The small things that used to make me wish weren't there have vanished and I thank you so much for the wonderful work, Mr. Glenn !!:thumbup::)

A new picture of my old and now exceptional knife:

So that's what those are supposed to look like. (The barrows…) I just bought two at the antique store. One with fairly light colored handles but the bolsters have been squished with something. Blades aren't too bad on it. But the other "pig-in-a-poke" I finally got open this afternoon. Still blades left but the previous owner thought he had a screwdriver and sharpened at least the main on a power grinder… May or may not post pictures later. The one is still swimming in Liquid Wrench, well, the joint and the blades are.
