Glennbad is a baaaad man

Thanks everyone!

Here's something I made on a whim. Just shows the things that can be done with the TL-29 screwdriver blade. I'd like to think of it as a Franken-Eureka. Gonna put an edge on it and carry it for awhile.

Here's a picture of the 2 sisters together. Violet is older and not quite as pretty, but well-traveled. Marigold is younger, and a little prettier.

More from the badd Glenn man arrived today - yea - he's badd!!! :

I sent Glenn an old cheap Imperial Delrin Barlow and a Delrin Western Boulder and asked him to re-cover them and fix them up for me. He re-covered the Western Boulder in ebony and the Barlow with some awesome bone he had laying around. He then added some solid nickel silver bolsters and I heard a whimper from him, just before Christmas. He wanted to know if I liked threaded bolsters. I replied that I love threaded bolsters.

He suggested that I Primbleize the blades on the Imperial in his return letter. I did not need to read that twice and commenced to rubbing on the blades for a bit, adding some vinegar to the mix, then a little more rubbing.

I am very pleased with this pair, as I was very pleased by the other work Glenn performed for me. He is da man. ;):)

MY internet access has been quite sporadic for the past couple of weeks, but when I have a connection, I've been trying to catch up a little on traditional sub forum goings-on. And, even though I'm a little late on this, I can't help but say:

HOLY TOLEDO, Glenn!! That's awesome work :thumbup::thumbup:
Congrats, Primble, on your gorgeous new knives! As others have noted, that Imperial barlow is just stunning!
(Have you ever posted details of Primbleizing a blade? Your blades always look so uniform and elegant!!)

BTW Glenn, that little Western you did for Primble was very kindly gifted to me by Rob. I like it a lot. :D

Glad to hear my work is enjoyed!

Excellent work on all Glenn! Really like that lockback Case you did in stag! That's the way that Case should've been done originally.

 On the case stag lock-back. Doesn't get any nicer than that. Terrific work!

I agree, that stag looks like a totally great fit with this pattern. The only thing I didn't like was the super thin bolsters.
