Glennbad is a baaaad man

Just received this wonderful work from Mr. glennbad glennbad !

Recovered in ebony wood and modded to a lambsfoot!

The original knife was very poorly put together...nail breaker pulls on both blades, uneven swedges, thinned out covers that were lifting off the frames, whacked out frame (see picture below), terrible fit/finish on the blades, unsharpened edges, on and on and on...

The knife feels amazing now! The lambsfoot blade was modded from a spey blade while keeping as much of the original blade stock, lowered the pull and it is now at comfortable 6ish, perfectly fitted covers, evened out swedges, smoothed fit/finish! FYI, the TEW stamp on the bolster came originally as shown, and was not polished off.

I present to you Mr. glennbad glennbad 's Bayou Lambsfoot!

Here's one I did for fun. A Schrade 175 that was mechanically sound, but had been used a little hard. The blade was pretty scratched up, and the bolsters were dinged. I put some kinda plain jane stag on it. I left the finish sanding rough in spots, as I envisioned it as a work knife. I like the way it turned out.

At the risk of Charlie's wrath, I have completed another Waynorth Lambsfoot mod. I think this one was a second, does that make it any less sacrilege? It was originally done in ebony. I hope I did it justice...
