Go Big Or Go Home....What Do You Guys Think?

BladeChick- Im keeping the handles removable so i can swap them up if i ever want to but for now im sticking to black and copper for the handles I love copper (i wish i knew why) im even thinking of ghetto copper plating the handle screws.
If i ever have the room for the tools i want to start making a little more frequently and not out sourcing the grinds i have some knives drawn up for a more practical version of this thing :).

Turned the copper rod down to the needed diameter i know thats a lot of waste but all i had on hand was 1" copper rod.
Now i have a heavy walled copper lanyard tube :) slow progression.

I really like how the big 'un is coming. I think that one has the most potential, personally.

Have you done anything with the smaller knives? I don't know, but they seem pretty thick for such small knives. Seems like you'd have to grind them a lot to get much cutting ability out of them.

All the smaller ones have been rough ground (except the persians) but since all i had on hand was a portable belt sander they all have an extreme unusable convex grind.
So until i either have enough time to file them or some better tools they are on the back burner they are very thick but they will cut with the right grind.

i roughed out the handles today, how do you guys line up your holes for drilling?
2 of the handle holes where slightly off and i had to enlarge the holes to make everything fit.
later on in the week im going to pick up some sanding drums so i can finish up the handles.
